Composition :
The fundamental components are :
- Cadmium hydroxide - Cd(OH)2
- Cadmium oxide - CdO
- Filamentary nickel powder
- Stabilisers, activating and granulation additions
Properties :
- good tablet presability
- good bulk properties making it possible to charge the accumulator mass directly into the band
- high stability during long term cycles (charging/discharging)
- reduced electrolyte wastage during overcharging
Method of use in the production of electrodes :
Ready to be pressed into tablets (briquettes) and, at the same time, to be directly charged into the shaped perforated band.
