POSITIVE ELECTRODES

Application :

Positive electrodes (plates) are used in the manufacture of finished Ni-Cd accumulator cells.

Composition :

The filler is a positive NICOL HEAVY mass accumulator or NICOL G mass accumulator or can be modified as required by the customer.

The enclosure (collector) consists of a nickel coated perforated band with a width of 24 mm. The perforated band can contain holes blanked using PVA membrane or non blanked holes. The active mass is enclosed in the so-called pockets out of the perforated band. The individual pockets are mechanically interconnected with one another.

The customer can determine the following :

   - type of perforation (needle or rolled)

   - quantity of active mass filler in the electrode

   - electrode dimensions (length, width and thickness)

Note : The length of the electrode depends on the required number of mechanically interconnected pockets.  

Parameters :

The electrode plates can be supplied within the required tolerance range of the fundamental dimensions and weights after the specifications have been agreed upon with the customer. In addition, the electrochemical measurement of the electrode capacities can also be performed for the agreed number of samples from the supplied quantity.
