Environmental Protection at Bochemie

Environmental Policy

The current chemical production at Bochemie draws on a hundred year tradition and Bochemie s.r.o. ranks among the most significant companies in the town of Bohumín, while its significance transcends the region.

Prevention of Serious Emergencies

The issue of preventing serious emergencies and environmental protection at Bochemie is the focus of major attention at all managerial levels.

Air Protection

One major investment that has led to a reduction in the amount of contaminated emissions was the conversion of the Bochemie Bohumín boiler room to a gas facility whereby the contaminated emissions into the atmosphere were reduced to a third of the initial value.

Water Protection

In order to allow for the appropriate treatment of waste water, a two-stage neutralisation waste water treatment station was gradually constructed, followed by an additional biological treatment stage for waste water.

Product Care

At Bochemie, we pay a great deal attention to the issue of reducing the negative impact that our production has on the surrounding environment, as well as to the development of new products which are more favourable to the living environment or the user.
