Responsible Care is a global voluntary initiative of the chemical industry focused on sustainable development by increasing the safety of operated facilities and product transport, and by improving the protection of human health and the environment. The program represents a long-term strategy coordinated by the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), in Europe by the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC), and in the Czech Republic by the Association of the Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic.
We joined the program back in 1997, and since 1998 we have regularly defended our right to use the RC logo. This logo is awarded to companies that demonstrably fulfill the principles of responsible production. This year has been significant for us – we have successfully defended the Responsible Care program for the ninth time and thus earned the right to use the Responsible Care logo for another five years.
Our repeated defense confirms that the principles of responsible business, safety, and environmental protection are firmly embedded in Bochemie’s everyday operations and are a natural part of our corporate culture.
We received the Responsible Care certificate at the ceremonial Evening with Czech Chemistry, organized by the Association of the Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic.
